Resorts in the United States, USVI, and Puerto Rico

As recommended by the CDC, Owners and guests are encouraged to wear a face covering indoors, regardless of vaccination status, in areas the CDC defines as substantial or high for COVID-19 transmission. This recommendation is in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts operate.

Please refer to your resort’s Property Update page for specific information regarding local government mandates that may currently be in place.

  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication

Important Alerts

Please note:  The recent U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention order, requiring that all aircraft passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country obtain a test for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), does not apply to airline passengers arriving in the United States from the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

However, there are currently travel restrictions in place when traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico from the United States. Please refer to the websites below for the most current information.

Official Information

Due to a government order, face coverings are required for all Owners, guests and associates when inside hallways, common areas, poolside, and on the beach shore except when an individual is unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability. Please visit the local government website below for more information for facial covering requirements, etc.

There are travel restrictions in place associated with arrival into the U.S. Virgin Islands for every traveler aged five and older. Every traveler aged five and older is required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal (http://www.usvitravelportal.com) and submit one of the following COVID-19 test results (regardless of vaccination status):

Present a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) (e.g., RT-PCR) from a nasal or throat or saliva swab sample taken, and NEGATIVE result received (both within 3 days of commencement of travel to the Territory). International travelers arriving by air are required to provide both within one day of commencement of travel to the Territory, be fully vaccinated (if 18 years of age or older) and provide proof of vaccination status.)

OR

Present a COVID-19 antigen (rapid) test from a nasal or throat swab sample taken and NEGATIVE result received (both within 3 days of commencement of travel to the Territory). This applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. International travelers arriving by air are required to provide both within one day of commencement of travel to the Territory, be fully vaccinated (if 18 years of age or older) and provide proof of vaccination status.)

Effective Aug. 13, 2021, results from COVID-19 antibody tests will no longer be acceptable for entry or submission to the USVI Travel Screening Portal.

Upon arrival, travelers must produce the original test result and the travel certification received from the Travel Screening Portal. Travelers unable to produce the required test result will be subject to a mandatory, self-quarantine, per the Department of Health. The self-quarantine period will last for 10 days from the time of entry or until they are able to receive the required test result while in the Territory.

Please look to the U.S. Virgin Islands government website for specifics associated with these travel restrictions and requirements.
