Face Coverings at Our Resorts

Resorts in the United States, USVI, and Puerto Rico

Effective May 21, 2021, unless otherwise required by local government mandates, fully-vaccinated Owners and guests at resorts in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico are no longer required to wear face coverings at our resorts.

Please refer to your resort’s Property Update page for specific information regarding local government mandates that may currently be in place.

Face coverings are required for all unvaccinated Owners and guests at each of our resorts. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn by unvaccinated Owners and guests include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained 

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements for unvaccinated Owners and guests while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Resorts Outside of the United States, USVI, and Puerto Rico

As part of our efforts to help you stay healthy when you stay with us, face coverings are required of all Owners, guests, and vendors at each of our resorts — even where not currently government-mandated and regardless of your COVID-19 vaccination status — in connection with health agency recommendations. General Property Updates

Our resort is located within Sea Pines, which requires a $9 USD entrance fee to access the community.

Lobby Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

After Lobby Hours, Owners and guests should utilize the following check-in procedure:

  • Owners and guests should use the phone located on Marriott's Harbour Club's front porch to reach the front desk at Marriott's Monarch front desk at 843-363-3040.
  • Keys and arrival materials will then be delivered by the Manager on Duty.

Only two (2) cars per villa.

RVs, Trailers, motorcycles, and commercial/company vehicles are not permitted in Sea Pines.

Amenity Status

The current status of resort amenities and services is subject to change at any time due to governmental requirements and/or changes to operating guidelines. Please continue to check this website frequently for updates prior to your upcoming reservation.

On-demand shuttle service is available between Marriott's Harbour Club and the Sea Pines Beach Club from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

    The "Rent 2 Ride" bike services are now open. If you pre-order your bikes prior to your arrival, you will receive 10% off. Otherwise, please see the front desk associate to sign up for times for Bicycle Rentals.

    A variety of activities are now being offered including wine and paint, guided bike rides, tie dye, poolside games and nature walks. Reservations are needed for many activities and are made through the front desk.

    The Fitness Center is available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Register for a 45-minute time slot through the front desk. Maximum of two (2) guests per time slot.
  • Fitness Class

    The clubTHRIVE fitness classes are now being offered Sunday through Friday including AquaFit, yoga stretch, and resistance band workouts. Reservations are required and can be made through the front desk.
  • Hot Tub(s)/Spa(s)

    The Whirlpool Spa is closed for remodeling.
  • Pool Chairs

  • Pool(s)

    The Pool is open from sunrise to sunset. Guests may use sanitizing wipes available on the pool deck to sanitize chairs. All pool furniture is sprayed with an antiviral and antibacterial misting unit every morning.
