  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Important Alerts

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please be aware that effective December 2, 2020 and until further notice, the Island of Kauai will no longer participate in the State of Hawaii’s Pre-Travel Testing Program.

In the absence of the Pre-Travel Testing Program, all travelers to the Island of Kauai must quarantine for the mandatory 10-day period upon arrival to Kauai beginning December 2, 2020. The period of mandatory self-quarantine begins from the day an individual enters Kauai and lasts through the earlier of 10 days, or the duration of the person’s presence on Kauai.

The resort is required to immediately notify law enforcement of any quarantine violations, and the resort will be abiding by that requirement.

Any guest subject to the mandatory 10-day self-quarantine period will be required to remain in his/her villa during the quarantine period and only permitted to leave the villa for medical emergencies or to seek medical care. Further, any such guest is not permitted to have any visitors in his/her villa, other than a physician or healthcare provider, during the quarantine period. During any time that the self-quarantine requirements remain in place, please note that, upon your check-in, the resort will be issuing a one-time use only room key for initial access to your villa.

Please note that, based on government order, any medical exemptions to the face covering requirement must be issued by a licensed medical doctor, doctor of osteopathy or advanced practice registered nurse, but should not specify the medical condition that precludes the wearing of a face covering. Please visit the links below for official information on the mandatory restrictions including facial covering requirements, etc.
