PROPERTY UPDATES

Know Before You Go

With your health and safety in mind, amenities and services may be closed, unavailable or limited. So you and your party can be happily social, while maintaining a healthy distance from others. Leading up to your stay, please be sure to check Resort Updates often to see the status of individual vacation properties.

Face coverings are required  at all of our resorts worldwide. To learn more, see Face Covering Requirement.

Mask Up, Vacation On

As part of our efforts to help you stay healthy when you stay with us, face coverings are required of all Owners, guests, and vendors at each of our resorts — even where not currently government-mandated. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained 

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Emergency Preparedness and Response Teams

We monitor and respond to changing conditions that may impact your vacation plans at our resorts — from the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) to any weather impacts and relevant maintenance projects. Our dedicated emergency preparedness and response teams remain focused on the safety and well-being of our Owners, Members, guests and associates.

Health Monitoring and Guidance

We follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and local health departments, as well as other governmental recommendations and requirements. And while our rigorous cleaning protocols have already been further enhanced, we continue to work closely with industry and vendor leaders to stay abreast of any updates or new products and processes.

RESORT OPERATIONS

Social Distancing Guidelines

Across our vacation properties, we’ve made adjustments to support social distancing and decreased gathering sizes in response to governmental mandates and guidance issued by health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization.

Before Your Arrival

We’re taking steps to gradually restore previously closed or modified amenities and services across many of our resorts, where currently permitted. However, in the weeks and months ahead, the availability of on-site amenities and services may be limited. Adjustments will continue to be made in response to government mandates and operational protocols.

Vacation with Confidence

We’ve expanded our already rigorous cleaning protocols to provide cleaner spaces for your vacations, including the use of hospital-grade disinfectants and availability of hand sanitizing stations throughout the properties. And thanks to all of our vacation-loving Owners, Members, and guests who are proving that you and your party can be happily social while maintaining a healthy distance from others!

Healthier Together

Our enhanced cleaning standards and other associate protocols complement our Owners, Members and guests’ own positive actions to stay healthy: washing hands thoroughly and consistently; covering a cough or a sneeze; social distancing, both on property and off; avoiding unnecessary personal contact such as shaking hands; wearing face coverings; and avoiding public spaces — and refraining from travel — when not feeling well.
Please remember that the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is highly contagious. We cannot guarantee that all Owners, Members and guests will share our commitment to health safety, and it is possible that you may encounter others on vacation who are contagious. We are doing our best to help you vacation safely, and we know that you will do your part, as well.

Temporary Reservation Modifications and Cancellations

The health and wellness of our Owners, Members, guests and associates is priority. In response to the changing conditions and our understanding that increased flexibility is needed during these changing times, we have included our temporarily modified cancellation policies by brand.

Please note: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) is highly contagious. We encourage you to continue to take steps to mitigate your risk of COVID-19, including following recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization. As is the case with any public place, we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter others at the resort who are contagious; however, we want you to know that we are committed to cleanliness and our enhanced safety measures in response to COVID-19. Also, due to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the status of your reservation may be changed at any time in connection with governmental orders of the jurisdiction in which the resort is located and/or guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
