As part of our efforts to help you stay healthy when you stay with us, face coverings are required of all Owners, guests, and vendors at each of our resorts — even where not currently government-mandated. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained 

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Important Alerts

While at the resort, please remember to maintain social distancing (6-feet or more from other Owners, guests and associates). The use of face coverings is required, including at the pool areas, when not in the water. This includes when seated in chaise loungers or other seating areas, per guidance from the State of California. Please avoid leaving your villa if during your stay you do not feel well.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE WESTIN MISSION HILLS GOLF RESORT & SPA:

As of July 15, 2020, the adjacent Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is no longer managed by Marriott International. With this change, access to the adjacent resort is not currently available by shuttle or walking path.

  • To access the golf course, or restaurants at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa, Villas Owners and guests may drive to the resort or walk along Dinah Shore Drive to the main entrance. Parking may be validated with purchases at these outlets.
  • Room charges for purchases at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa are not currently available.
  • Pools at the adjacent resort are not currently available to Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas Owners and guests.
  • Please use only the Paradise Pool at the Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, which is available by reservation due to COVID-19 protocols. The East Pool is currently closed and will reopen on February 12, 2021.
  • The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa does offer day passes for a fee. Please contact The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa for availability and pricing.
  • Shuttle Service is not available to/from the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa.

Official Information

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Public Health Officer of the State of California issued a Regional Stay at Home Order on December 3, 2020 ("Order"), which provides for certain criteria that, when met for a specific region of California (“Region”), implements prohibitions of the Order for that Region of California, including prohibiting most travel, except essential travel, in a Region in which the criteria have been met.  NOTE:  Essential travel does NOT include travel that is considered tourism or recreational in nature.  Additionally, the Order also prohibits hotels and lodging properties in the State of California from accepting or honoring out of state reservations (including for returning California residents), except in limited circumstances, so long as any Region in the State of California is subject to the Order. At this time, the Region the resort is located in is subject to all of the prohibitions outlined in the Order.  As a result, Owners and guests with upcoming reservations are being notified accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE:  Owners and guests traveling to the resort will be required to complete an acknowledgment upon arrival to the resort certifying that their stay at the resort is in compliance with the Order. The resort will not be able to honor the reservation of an Owner or guest who does not meet the permitted stay requirements of the Order.

General Property Updates

Parking for Nightly Rental Guests effective on February 1, 2021 will be as follows:

$20 - First Vehicle

$35 - Second Vehicle

Please contact the resort in advance to arrange parking for the a second vehicle. Please note: Parking is not available on site for larger vehicles such as motorhomes, vehicles with trailers, watercraft or similar. Please contact the property in advance for assistance.

Construction Updates

The East Pool is currently closed for resurfacing and anticipated to reopen February, 12, 2021. Construction noise may occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Paradise Pool will be available by appointment only for 2.5 hour reservation slots, subject to availability. Due to social distancing requirements, availability is not guaranteed.

Beginning May 30, 2021, to October 17, 2021, The Westin Mission Hills Resort Villas, Palm Springs will be undergoing villa refurbishment and building painting. Work will occur daily during daytime hours, so please anticipate construction noise during this time. All other resort amenities are expected to remain open and fully operational for your enjoyment.

    The Paradise Pool is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and has limited capacity due to social distancing requirements. Owners and guests will be able to sign up for a 2.5-hour time slot at the Pool or at the Front Desk. Owners and guests are allowed to bring small cooler to the pool (no glass is allowed). Reservations are first come, first serve and space is not guaranteed. Pools at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa are not currently available. The Paradise Pool water slide is closed due to government orders. The East Pool is currently closed for resurfacing and anticipated to reopen February, 12, 2021. Construction noise may occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
