Mask Up, Vacation On

As part of our efforts to help you stay healthy when you stay with us, face coverings are required of all Owners, guests, and vendors at each of our resorts — even where not currently government-mandated. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained 

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.


The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Important Alerts

While at the resort, please remember to maintain social distancing (6-feet or more from other Owners, guests and associates). The use of face coverings inside is required.  Please avoid leaving your villa if during your stay you do not feel well.

Official Information

Any person traveling to the resort should be free of any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 prior to their arrival to the resort. If you are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please do not travel to the resort until you are symptom free for at least 14 days for your well-being as well as that of our other Owners, guests and associates.

As is the case with any public place, we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter others at the resort who are contagious; however, we want you to know that we are committed to cleanliness and our enhanced safety measures in response to COVID-19.     BBQs are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (dependent upon location). Please bring your own cooking utensils.

    The MarketPlace is open with modified operating hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Owners and guests must wear a facial covering to enter the MarketPlace.
  • On-Site Restaurant

  • Pool Bar/Grille

    The Water's Edge Pool Bar & Grill is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for takeout service only.
  • Pool Chairs

    Select Pools are open with limited seating capacity and reduced operating hours for enhanced cleaning protocols and social distancing requirements. Hot Tubs/Spas remain closed at this time. Each day Owners and guests may book one, 2-hour seating at the pool of their choice per person (please note pool reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed each day of your stay). The Kiddie Pool at the Palmeras Pool is open with reduced capacity. All other Kiddie Pools are closed.
  • Sports Courts/Playgrounds

    Basketball Courts are open and subject to social distancing limitations. Owners and guests must bring their own basketballs. The Playground and all Fire Pits are currently closed. The tennis courts at the JW Marriott are open on a first-come, first-served basis. Owners and guests must bring their own rackets and tennis balls.
