Construction Updates

Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort will undergo villa room renovations and Annual Maintenance Projects from Nov. 18, 2024, through Mar. 07, 2025. Please anticipate construction noise during daytime hours. Amenities and F&B outlets opening dates & times will be affected.

Below is the most current schedule for planned maintenance work & facility closures affecting owners and guests. The resort will do its utmost to keep any disturbance to the minimum and we like to apologize in advance for any noise the maintenance may cause to you during your holidays. The ongoing renovations and preventive maintenance will ensure the upkeep of the resort for your upcoming holidays.

Please note that this schedule only covers larger projects that are scheduled at this point in time. Other repairs or maintenance may occur throughout the Resort on an ongoing basis and are not noted on this schedule.

From Nov 15, 2024, to Feb 29, 2025, the outside tiling works (pool decks, pathways, courtyards, etc.) will be closed. ³
From Nov. 18, 2024, to Dec. 1, 2025, Terrace’s railing replacement works will be performed at Building 10. ³
From Jan.13, 2025 to Jan.27, 2025, the Gym will be closed. ^3,6
From Jan. 13, 2025, to Feb. 16, 2025, the Outdoor Main Pool (non-heated) will be closed. ^3,4
From Jan. 13, 2025, to Jan 23, 2025, the Indoor Family Pool, Changing Rooms & Sauna will be closed. ^3,4
From Jan. 13, 2025, to Jan 30, 2025, the Family Pool’s Jacuzzis will be closed. ^3,4
From Jan. 13, 2025, to Jan. 26, 2025, the Outdoor “Pepe’s” Kids Pool will be closed. ^3,4
From Jan. 13, 2025, to Jan. 22, 2025, the Balinese’s area will be closed. ³
From Jan. 27, 2025, to Feb. 5, 2025, the Topless area will be closed. ³
From Feb. 17, 2025, to Mar. 2, 2025, Terrace’s railing replacement works will be performed at Building 11. ³
From Feb. 12, 2025, to Feb. 23, 2025, Fire System Ring works will be performed, El Med Area affected. ^2,3
From Mar. 2025 to April. 2025, the Changing Rooms Club House (Including the sauna/steam room) will be closed. ^3,5
From Mar. 10, 2025, through Mar 15, 2025, the Fun Court will be closed. ³
From June 9, 2025, to Jun. 22, 2025, the Indoor Quiet Pool will be closed. ^3,4
From Nov. 18, 2025, to Mar. 2, 2025, Apartment’s Renovation works will be performed at the buildings. ³

From Nov 3, 2024 to Apr 11, 2025 Market Place Beach will be closed
From Jan 8, 2025 to Feb 13 2025 El Med Restaurant and Chill Bar will be closed ^2,3
From Feb 14 2025 to Feb 28, 2025 Charlies Bar will be closed.
From July 1, 2025 to August 31, 2025 Charlies Bar will be closed

¹ Sunbeds are NOT available at the beach from Jan 1, 2025, to Feb 28, 2025
² Charlies Bar will remain open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner during the closure of El Med Restaurant and Chill Bar. The marketplace remains open full year-round for meal options, groceries, freshly baked breads, and much more.
³ During work, the noise level may be at times high for extended periods in affected areas of the Resort.
⁴ Alternative Pools are scheduled to be open.
⁵ During renovation works limited changing facilities may be offered. Full changing room facilities are available in the Family Pool. While closed, no steam room facilities will be available. Unisex Sauna is available at the Family Pool.
⁶ Limited gym facilities and equipment will be available during this time. Some Activities (spinning, stretching, yoga, etc.) will also be available.
⁷ Alternative kids club will be available during the closure.

Cashless Resort

To help promote health safety, there is limited cash available at this property, and credit cards are the preferred method of payment.

Service Animal Policy

Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at this resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a room recovery fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a room recovery fee in the amount of $500 per pet and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.

Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.
