We understand that Maui is a special place for our Owners and guests. Following the wildfires that greatly impacted Maui in 2023, please be mindful of the community’s continuing recovery journey when visiting.

Due to these potential outages, owners and guests are advised to travel with any necessary items you may need in the event of a power outage.  Please refer to the above Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) link on how to prepare. As noted, these outages could occur at any time and may last for up to one to three days. Our front desk and pre-arrival teams will provide any additional information available that will be relevant for your stay.

Construction Updates

Beginning Aug. 9 through Nov.24, 2025, The Westin Kā’anapali Ocean Resort Villas North will undergo an interior villa soft goods renovation, an exterior renovation, and painting project. Work will occur daily during daytime hours, so please anticipate contractors and construction noise daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All amenities are expected to remain open.

From Apr. 4, 2026 through Jun. 27, 2026, the resort will undergo an interior villa soft goods renovation, an exterior renovation, and painting project. Cashless Resort

There is no cash available at this resort and credit cards are the only acceptable form of payment.

Service Animal Policy

Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at this resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a room recovery fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a room recovery fee in the amount of $500 per pet and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility. Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.
