  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Important Alerts

Due to a government order, face coverings are required for all Owners and guests outside your villa (including in all common and public areas) except with certain limited exceptions. Please visit the links below for official information on the mandatory restrictions including facial covering requirements, etc.

Owners and guests planning a trip to Hawaii, including traveling between the Hawaiian Islands, should review current State of Hawaii and County government guidance (link provided below), as this information changes frequently and may vary from island to island.

Hawaii Pre-Travel Testing Program

Beginning October 15, the State of Hawaii will launch a Pre-Travel Testing Program that provides travelers with an alternative to the mandatory 14-day quarantine in connection with travel into Hawaii. It will be your kuleana (responsibility) to know the rules surrounding the Pre-Travel Testing Program and self-quarantine measures and abide by the rules imposed.  PLEASE NOTE that unless a County adopts a waiver for pre-travel testing associated with inter-island travel, the Pre-Travel Testing Program does NOT apply to traveling inter-island to the islands of Kauai, Maui and Hawaii, as there is a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine currently in effect through November 30. Please review current government guidance often, as your travel plans could be affected.

Please visit the official State of Hawaii website for information on the State of Hawaii Pre-Travel Testing Program.

Additionally, please visit the official Maui County website for information on local travel restrictions and testing requirements for the Island of Maui.

For your travel planning purposes, please note that there are separate inter-island travel quarantine requirements which may be applicable and may require additional testing should your travels include visiting more than one island during your in Hawaii.

Required Online Travel and Health Questionnaire

All arriving passengers to Hawaii will be required to fill out a mandatory State of Hawaii online travel and health questionnaire. Save time during your arrival screening process by completing it online no sooner than 24 hours before you depart, and follow all pre-arrival procedures. For the current government guidance and to access the online travel and health questionnaire provided by the State of Hawaii, please visit Hawaii’s official tourism website.
