Face Coverings at Our Resorts

Resorts in the United States, USVI, and Puerto Rico

Effective May 21, 2021, unless otherwise required by local government mandates, fully-vaccinated Owners and guests at resorts in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico are no longer required to wear face coverings at our resorts.

Please refer to your resort’s Property Update page for specific information regarding local government mandates that may currently be in place.

Face coverings are required for all unvaccinated Owners and guests at each of our resorts. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn by unvaccinated Owners and guests include the following:

  • Indoor public spaces and common areas
  • Lobbies
  • Food & Beverage outlets, including pool bars, Marketplaces, and other similar venues
  • Fitness centers
  • Outdoor public spaces where social distance of 6ft/2m cannot be maintained 

Please Note:  The above requirements are in addition to any applicable face covering requirements mandated by governmental authorities in the jurisdictions where our resorts are located.

Exceptions

The following exceptions apply to the above face covering requirements for unvaccinated Owners and guests while on property, but please note that any more stringent requirements mandated by governmental authorities in jurisdictions where our resorts are located will still apply:

  • Individuals younger than 2 years old
  • Individuals with a health or medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering
  • Individuals who are actively communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication
  • Individuals who are eating or drinking and seated at a food establishment on property (Individuals will be required to wear a face covering while moving around the food establishment and until they are seated at their table.)
  • Individuals who are exercising outdoors, including running, biking, and swimming and who are able to socially distance while doing so

Resorts Outside of the United States, USVI, and Puerto Rico

As part of our efforts to help you stay healthy when you stay with us, face coverings are required of all Owners, guests, and vendors at each of our resorts — even where not currently government-mandated and regardless of your COVID-19 vaccination status — in connection with health agency recommendations. Shared spaces where face coverings must be worn include the following:

    Pool Towels are provided in the villas. Towel exchange has been discontinued. Owners and guests will need to launder pool towels in their villa. The Pools and Lazy River are open normal hours (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) with social distancing requirements. The tubes are not available at this time.  Personal inner tubes without a solid bottom and not exceeding 42" as well as pool noodles and infant flotation devices are permitted.  No full body floats or body boards are allowed. The Splash Cove will remain closed until further notice.
  • Sports Courts/Playgrounds

    Select sports courts are available (mini-golf, volleyball, basketball, tennis, shuffleboard). Open to use with your own equipment from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Limited availability for equipment checkout between the hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the activities window. Check-out is for a 45 minute time frame, cannot be taken back to your villa and equipment will not be allowed for check-out past 7 p.m.

    There is a suspension of all housekeeping services in occupied villas.  Bath towel and linen exchange are temporarily suspended. A washer and dryer are available for use in every villa.
